Eman, a Palestinian chef arrived in the UK in 2015 as a refugee. Despite facing challenges with language, culture, and adapting to a new community, Eman proved that refugees are independent, resourceful individuals capable of supporting and helping others.
My Story
Her passion for cooking and dedication to her Palestinian heritage led her to start her own business, Bisan Bites with support from TERN in the UK.
Eman now has a food street stall and does catering for events. She shares her authentic Palestinian flavors and foster connections, demonstrating the strength and resilience of the refugee community in the UK, and honouring her roots and culture through sharing her favourite food!
