About Baytna
Born from the meaning of “Our Home,” Baytna was founded to bridge the gap between refugees and the UK community through the universal language of food, art and storytelling.
Baytna is refugee-owned and powered, dedicated to shifting the negative narratives to showcasing talent and contribution. We do that through: providing paid opportunities for talented refugees, challenging negative stereotypes through our advocacy and events, and strengthening community belonging.
As we grow, our mission is to scale this model into having permanent street food spots/ and Baytna refugee-led cafes across the UK bringing refugee and local communities together.

Our Vision

At Baytna (Our Home), we believe that food and art can be more than just a meal or a show.
Our vision is to dismantle the negative stereotypes surrounding the refugee experience. As a refugee-owned and powered business, we aim to scale a model of resilience and excellence, providing meaningful employment and leadership opportunities for those talented refugees rebuilding their lives. We don’t just want to be a part of the UK’s food and hospitality culture; we want to lead it toward a future that is more inclusive, more sustainable, and more flavorful, one dish at a time.
